Toy Laser

A toy laser inspired by Pee-wee Herman’s bike from Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. The toy laser was modeled off of the laser accessory on the front of Pee-wee’s bike.

Designed for an adult with a kid’s spirit, the acrylic fins light up red, the propeller spins, and a *pew* sound is made when the trigger is pressed.

An Arduino Nano was used to control all of the inputs and outputs. 3 red LEDs lit the fins, a DC motor rotated the propeller, a piezo speaker made the *pew* sound, and a button was used to record the pressed trigger. All components were encased in a 3D-printed, PLA shell.
